My Week in Photos

As usual a bunch of phone pictures of mostly flowers. Taken on Lomo app and different photo editing app.

I'd like to take my photos of the station from the walkway above, to get some interesting angles.

I like how the green 'pops' on this photo compared to my pale skin and the dark background. In essence spring is here in the palm of my hand.

I really love reflection photos and I think i might be getting a little obsessed with them. I like this one with the red umbrella standing out and my shoes being in clear focus. The elements to it are interesting.

Busy Busy Busy

So it's been a while since I took photos. I know! Sorry!

It's been work work work at the moment but I took some photos at my mum's birthday of her amazing cake. I then went to Sheffield with my camera, finally!

This is me reflected in a giant metal orb with water flowing over it. You can find them near The Winter Garden's in Sheffield.

This building was just amazing. Hidden out of view of the main streets. It almost looks like some crazy object rather than a HUGE building. I think it's one of my favourite photos of this blog post.

I don't know how this flower is just surviving but it is. In a barren small park in Sheffield city centre. I love how the colour stands out against the murky dead plants in the background.

I don't think I'll have any more photos till after Christmas and/or New Year so Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!

Drops of Rain

Not so much sunshine today.

Lots of rain instead. And because of the looting and destruction in Manchester last night I haven't gone out today. I was going to go to Manchester today with my camera coz it's my day off but the weather didn't really help either. So while I was sat watching tv I decided as it had stopped raining for a bit that I would do some indoor macro photography. So I got a mirror to try and reflect some more light and I wanted to play with the effects that can be used.

Not many images today as I don't have many things to take photos of indoors.

Sorry for the lack of uploads, being busy with work and days off being rainy hasn't helped at all. I'm meeting a model next week and one the week after in Manchester, assuming everything is over with the looting etc. I'm working a 24 hour week this week, 18 hour week next week and a 20hour week the week after so quite busy. Can't wait to get paid on the 19th. I shall be buying a Nikon 55-200mm lens which will hopefully replace my standard kit lens altogether. I don't know when I will next update so you'll all just have to wait and see!
