A friend is one who walks in when others walk out

A friend is one who walks in when others walk out
Walter Winchell

These photos are from my lovely walk on my Birthday to Hathersage. The sun was glorious and it melted me and my Fiancée.
Lots of grass and textures on these photos. A bird, ladybird and duck also make an appearance. It was a lovely day and I am quite happy with the photos I took even if I am still a bit rusty.

Oh look, whose this? That would be me with my newly dyed hair, taken by my Fiancée

Also a bit of sad news. My Birthday was 28th May and sadly my Granddad passed away a day later. I'm unsure when the next time I'll get to take photos will be. I may be getting use of a car soon so more chance of organising a proper photo shoot. Who knows but it may be some time before I'm back.

Take care everyone

Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine

"Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine"
Anthony J. D'Angelo

As usual these are photos from Bramhall Park. It was just too nice out today to not go out and take photos. My main aim was to try and photograph more animals.

Love these Ladybird photos. Love that the red pops against the green.

Enjoy!

Instagram!!!!!

So, you can now get Instagram on Android phones. Naturally I downloaded it and now I'm obsessed with it. It is a fun little tool to work with. This is a selection of the photos I have taken using it so far:

1. I got it while in Sheffield this week and was playing with it. This was taken stood waiting fro the tram to take us back to Ciaran's flat.
2. Bored at Ciaran's flat, playing with light and glass. The only nice Glass to hand? My joke Christmas present from my sister :D
3. A photo I already had on my phone, cropped and edited with Instagram.

4. On my way to/from work there are lots of trees that are still blooming so I've been taking as many photos as I can. This has been adding an extra 10mins to my walk home!
5. Playing with the effects Instagram has.
6. Bored waiting for my train to work. I take photos a lot when I'm bored.

7/8/9. On journey to/from work

10/11/12.  On journey to/from work

13/14/15. Books! :D

Will update again as soon as I can! I've got a weeks holiday next week which includes a trip to Newcastle to see friends, I will have my camera! As in my proper camera.

Also you can find my under MidnightTopaz on Instagram! If anyone else has Instagram, let me know, I'd love to have a look! :D

My Week in Photos

As usual a bunch of phone pictures of mostly flowers. Taken on Lomo app and different photo editing app.

I'd like to take my photos of the station from the walkway above, to get some interesting angles.

I like how the green 'pops' on this photo compared to my pale skin and the dark background. In essence spring is here in the palm of my hand.

I really love reflection photos and I think i might be getting a little obsessed with them. I like this one with the red umbrella standing out and my shoes being in clear focus. The elements to it are interesting.

Alfie

So today I went to have a meal with my Fiancée's family to celebrate his grandma's 90th birthday. After that we went back to his parents house and I got some photos of flowers and some daft photos of the dog, Alfie. All on my phone as usual.

My Fiancée dropped his hockey jersey over poor Alfie but he just sat there, was very amusing.

Also Happy April fools for those who celebrate the day with silly and sometimes wonderful pranks

Reality is hard. It is no walk in the park, this thing called Life.

Reality is hard. It is no walk in the park, this thing called Life.

Oh look, It's Bramhall Park. Again. Sorry!
These were taken a week ago, the 19th. It was the same day I posted the photos from my film camera so thought I'd save these.
The sun was brilliant on the day.
I think I might be obsessed with playing with the colours in photos. Its a lot of fun and I think it can create some interesting effects

Not got much to say. Don't expect any more photos for a bit though. I do have a model who wants to do some work with me again so that'll be nice when we find a location and time.
Look forward to it!
